Let's NAIL it!

~Nude is in! Nude polish colors go with every skin tone and can match any outfit. It is simplistic but, it is also very versatile. It's what you need to achieve an easy complete look fast without having to spend time making sure your outfits match the weekly change of color on you nails. [Unless that's your thing. Then keep doing you boo ; ) ]I hope you guys give it is whirl :D.

I am using Sally Hansen Gel nail polish in the shade Pinky Promise. I absolutely recommend this brand of polish and I am sure you can find it at any grocery or beauty store(I got mine at Wal-Mart). It applies like any other polish but lasts up to a week and a half. For myself, I have noticed that my nails are stronger and the polish adds an extra layer of protection so my brittle nails don't break. One downside of the polish is that after a few months, the formula does begin to grow thicker and becomes a little harder to apply. But, other than that, my nails actually feel like I got Shellac done at a nail salon. And is also a way cheaper alternative. <3

~Nail Tip: When applying nail polish I recommend putting three layers of color and then one layer of clear coat. Wait at least 15 minutes between each coat.

But, the way I do it is...I finish painting the three coats of color right before bed and then fall asleep with both hands at my side and don't let anything touch them throughout the night so that they dry thoroughly. Then, in the morning I do the top coat. I know... I know... this may sound kind of ridiculous. Especially for restless sleepers or those who move in their sleep but, it takes some practice and it is better to have them dry in you sleep than when you are awake and mess them up while doing "To-Dos."

~Nail Tip: Long nails may be the fad but they do do not look the most flattering on everyone. There are two types or nail shapes: Shell shape and Bamboo shape. Shell shaped nails look better with shorter nails while those with bamboo shapes nails look better with longer nails.

~Tip: Add some dainty jewelry to your look to dress it up without having the pieces being heavy or bothersome. I got mine from Forever 21 but I am sure any clothing store will have some. (When buying jewelry, Go Gold! I think it's prettier and looks more regal)
